Merry Christmas!
I'll be leaving after the last of our 4 Christmas services for 2006, to drive to Detroit with my family - we'll celebrate Christmas at my in-law's as usual, and it's always a good time. Other friends are also driving to Detroit tomorrow - to watch the Bears game! That's ok, too.
In fact, one of the 'blessings' of this time of the year is that after the big holiday and before the first of the year, I usually get a few extra moments to do what I want - and that usually means catching up on some reading I haven't been able to squeeze in during the year.
I'm well-stocked with a bunch of new titles, so I'll let you know which one(s) I recommend to you after the holidays. Meanwhile, Merry Christmas to all my readers and may you also enjoy the blessings of family AND a chance to do what you want in the last week of 2006!

All right, Bro. McQuay, ALL RIGHT, I'll be the first to comment on this entry! Tom Contino here. Nice blog you have there! Good to catch up a little more on what's going on with you, the family, and CLC. I've been thinking of you all (and sneaking in prayers every now and then). Seems like you're doing well. I appreciate your walk with God and labor of love! When you have the chance, you'll have to come see my blog. It's at tommyjoe.wordpress.com. I tried to paste a link, but it wouldn't let me. My blog is not as well-ordered as yours, but I'm still a beginner. Anyway, I've talked your ear off. GOD BLESS! Fondly, TOM
