I'm a blessed man!

I had lunch today with a couple of south suburban pastor friends (something I haven't done in ages, but sure enjoyed today). After listening to them discuss their situations and some mutual pastor friends that we're praying for (it really wasn't gossip, I promise!) - I came away thinking how blessed I am to serve Christian Life Center!

I'm so thankful that I'm not having to deal with power-plays among the deacons, or dissension in the staff, or accusations and petitions to force the pastor's resignation! Thank God for the unity that we enjoy at CLC!

I'm not naive enough to think that everyone here agrees with every decision I make (neither do I!) or that every weekend message is a home run (sometimes I'd settle for just not striking out!), but I do know this and I can speak from experience: it is where God commands His blessing!
