planning retreat

Just got back in the office after spending the last 48 hours or so with our pastoral staff, planning the 2008 calendar and more. Trust me, it's not as easy as it sounds - trying to make major events work among all 3 campuses without overcrowding and being sensitive to holidays and other considerations. But we did it, and I feel good about where we're headed as a church.

Perhaps even more important, it was good to be together, planning and dreaming for the ministry, but also playing some games, enjoying some food, and praying for each other. I came away with a whole new appreciation for the TEAM that God has put together here: Steve & Shae Wasmundt, Dan & Pat Johnson, Doug & Shanna Neal, Chris & Amber Payne, and our newest additions, Joe & Sarah Dascenzo.
