90-day tithe challenge

Today I heard a testimony about tithing unlike any I'd ever heard before: one of our CLCers who prefers to remina anonymous caught me in the lobby between services to thank me for issuing the 90-day tithe challenge. She said, "Pastor, I've always been a sporadic tither, not one who tithes regardless. But after you challenged us to put God to the test, I decided to do so. Right after I made that commitment, I experienced a significant drop in income - a serious reduction in pay. BUT, my family and I never suffered and I was able to pay cash for stuff that I never was able to before - instead of relying on credit cards, I paid cash in spite of the fact that my income had been reduced, and I know it was a result of putting God first!"

Like I said, I never heard that one before, but I love how God keeps His promises to us, even in unexpected ways! Any more tithe testimonies out there? What's He doing to prove Himself to you?
