laughing w/Scripture
Sometimes the Bible makes me laugh! Yesterday's reading in our daily Bible reading guide made me chuckle out loud - Exodus 32:22-24
Not only is Aaron's excuse laughable, it's even more so because I've been just as guilty myself - trying to sell God some farfetched reason for why I did or didn't do something. How 'bout it - have you ever thrown something into the fire and "out came this calf"?
Unfortunately, God wasn't fooled - then or now - and we already know the truth about the calf. Come to think of it, most all of my failures have been the product of my own hands, too. And that's no laughing matter.
